Parenting Matters

Let me start by saying..... I do not have the manual on raising children!! There, i said it!! It has been as much trial and error in this house as every other family on the planet. Some things work, some things don't. Some things work for one child, and not the next. And I cant be the only one who has noticed, that boys are different to girls!! I know, crazy to adjust to, as a girl who grew up with only sisters, that boys come with noise, scrapes and lego that gets everywhere, especially the laundry basket and wherever mum is about to walk..... (the ice cube tray expedition was a personal favorite; see right.)  

We are privileged to be parents to 4 children, Boo, our only girl, aged 13, Haribo, who's 12, Smudge, who's almost 11 and lastly, Little Bud, who is a grown up 6 years old!!! (of course these are all nicknames, we are not cruel...)

So just some thoughts and personal stories from this amazing honor that God has given, to raise the unique human beings in this family....... (Lord help me!!)
